Course Objectives
The student is expected to acquire:
- Advanced skills needed to conduct group psychotherapy
- Group leadership experience
- A practical understanding of developmental stages of group psychotherapy
Course Content
This course is designed to develop group psychotherapy leadership skills. The students will co-lead group psychotherapy and will receive supervision from the instructor. the students will be guided through the forming, initial, transition, working and termination stages of group psychotherapy.
