Course Objectives
By the end of the semester students will
Have a deep understanding of self-determination theory.
Learn about some other motivational theories.
Develop novel research ideas.
Develop critical thinking skills.
Course Content
Human motivation from self-determination theory (SDT) perspective, theoretical and empirical issues regarding SDT, application of the theory in self-regulation, relationships, education, well-being, work, cultural, and health contexts.
