Course Objectives

By the end of the course, students will gain a general understanding in psychoanalitic diagnosis together with specific perspective related to Lacanian psychoanalitic approach.


Course Content

An advanced discussion of the problems of classification, review of the current literature on different types of disorders, their dynamics, and treatment.

By the end of the course the students will be able to

  • identify and diagnose psychopathologies in accordance with psychonalitic perspectives covered in the course
  • evaluate and formulate cases in the light of these perspectives
