Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to cover the current developmental research that is conducted, in an effort to solve a problem or to provide information that can be put to some specific use to facilitate development of infants, children and adolescents.


Course Content

The aim of this course is to cover the current developmental research that is conducted, in an effort to solve a problem or provide information that can be put to some specific use in the following areas: aggression, maltreatment of children, children in poverty and child rearing institutions, changes in the family: from extended to nuclear family and divorce, maternal daycare.


Course Learning Outcomes

students will be able to find the relevant literature and social policies, evaluate them and propose new policies or revisions to the old ones to enhance infants, children and adolescents development.
