Course Objectives
To build advanaced background in multidisciplinary developmental science
To gain an advanced understanding of life-span development at multiple levels ranging from genes and physiology to psychology and behavior.
Course Content
The course will include main theoretical approaches in the field of developmental psychology. General theories of developmental processes, area-specific theories such as those in cognitive, social and emotional skills, or models specializing in partiular phases of life (infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age) will be reviewed.
