As a team, you will find ways to recruit participants, train them about self-help groups based on the proposal from previous workshop class, and help them initiate the group. Once the group starts, you will serve as advisors and facilitators to support and sustain the group. As a team, you might need to find guest speakers, volunteer as social activity organizers, or participate in the self-help group as needed. You will also devise a way to measure the effectiveness of the group and collect data about group effectiveness. Finally, you will gather feedback from the participants and suggest adjustments to the self-help group manual as needed.
