Course Objectives

This course will involve students to be trained on a number of standart tests, observational measures and experiments to prepare them for time 1. data collection of a TUBİTAK funded 3 year longitudinal Project.


Course Content

The major aim is to involve the students in a typical research activity in their field of interest including designing of research, data collection, analysis of the results, and writing up a research report. Areas in which workshops will be offered will be announced, together with the course codes, each semester.
Prerequisite: Consent of the instructor.


Course Learning Outcomes

students will be able to assess 3 months to 5 year old children's development in a number of areas (language, cognitive, social and self development)
