Course Objectives

At the end of this course, the student will learn:

  • the cellular biology and the properties of neurons
  • the function of the nervous system/neuroanatomy
  • the role of neurotransmitters/hormones
  • the neural basis of addiction
  • the physiological basis of learning and memory
  • the basic techniques used in neuroscience

  • define the role of biological, anatomy and physiological factors of the nervous system
  • propose a research idea in order to advance the related topic in neuroscience
