Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the student will learn:
- the cellular biology and the properties of neurons
- the function of the nervous system/neuroanatomy
- the role of neurotransmitters/hormones
- the neural basis of addiction
- the physiological basis of learning and memory
- the basic techniques used in neuroscience
