Course Objectives
The course aims to provide information on the CBT model and the conduct of assessment, formulation and interventions based on this model. The course also aims to give experience in the conduct of CBT through role-play applications.
Course Content
Selected topics in Clinical Psychology concerning personality theories, psychopathology, psychological assessment, or psychotherapy will be discussed comprehensively. The aim of the course is to improve the students knowledge and skills on these selected topics.
Course Learning Outcomes
Students who complete the course will be able to
1. develop a CBT case assessment and formulation
2. to develop an understanding of CBT interventions
3. to use behavioral and cognitive therapy strategies
4. to have an understanding of mindfulness, problem solving, activity scheduling applications
