Course Objectives
Experiments on the synthesis of polymers (solution polymerization of styrene, anionic ring opening polymerization of caprolactam, interfacaial polymerization, emulsion polymerization, urea-formaldehyde resins, alkyd resins,etc.) polymer compounding and processing (injection molding, compression molding, thermoforming, rotational molding, calendering,etc.), project studies.
