Course Objectives
Physical processes of High Energy Astrophysics will be introduced. These will be ionization losses, radiation of accelerated charged particles and bremsstrahlung of electrons, dynamics of charged particles in magnetic field, synchtoron radiation, interaction of high energy photons, nuclear interactions and some aspects of plasma physics. For given physical processes above, High Enegy Astrophysics in our Galaxy will be studied. These will include dead stars (white dwarfs, neutron stars and black holes), Cosmic Rays. As a next part extragalaxtic high energy astrophysics will be studied. In this part active galaxies, black holes at the center of galaxies, cosmological aspects of galaxies will be introduced.
