Course Objectives

This course introduces students with a basic understanding of particle physics to current and open problems in experimental particle physics, enabling them to conduct research and draw conclusions based on existing research. The research topics in this course are primarily based on current and future research work at CERN.

It is expected that, upon successful completion of this course, students will have an understanding of the existing open problems and their possible solutions and needs for further studies in experimental particle physics focusing on the current and future research work at CERN.
