Course Objectives
Course Content
The study of the methods and skills that are necessary to teach physical activities, which includes an examination of techniques and tools useful for effective instruction: analyzing learning environments, analyzing learners, developing a scope and sequence, writing objectives, determining evaluation, designing learner activities
Course Learning Outcomes
The learner will;
- Comprehend the theoretical bases and critical issues in design for learning in physical education & sport field
- Critically evaluate the current Instructional models for physical education & sport
- Apply learner and contextual needs analysis
- Design an instruction (learner and contextual analysis, goals and objectives, task analysis, sequencing, strategies, materials, evaluation) by using the emerging instructional design technology
- Conduct peer evaluation and provide constructive feedback to others’ designs within the learning community
