Course Objectives

This course aims to equip students with the skills they need to publish in top-tier scientific journals. The course will also acquaint the student with the rankings and the quartiles of the journals in the field of sports sciences.


Course Content

This course is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills necessary to write and publish scholarly articles in the field of sport science. It will provide instructions for writing various sections of research papers. Additional topics that will be discussed include making decisions about authorship, selecting a journal for submission of an article, understanding the peer review process and expectations of editors and reviewers, and revising the article.
