Course Objectives
To give students trained in instrument lessons the ability to play together in the jazz orchestra discipline. For this purpose, students are taught the playing of jazz notes and signs, the application of jazz styles "ensemble" and examples of classical works of the jazz repertoire are played. In this way, it is aimed to maintain a permanent jazz orchestra with the participation of new students trained every year.
Course Content
This course aims to make improvement of playing an instrument and gain harmonic abilities in an orchestral arrangement. While teaching how to play an instrument appropriately in accordance with others, also make students know jazz music and its subgenres and improve their musical abilities.
