Course Objectives

The aim of this course is to provide to the students basic knowledge of singing with the correct voice techniques and the way of usage of the human voice.

In this course, another goal is to enable to the students to find natural voice colors and registers own themselves by applying the basic voice practices. The students will gain self confidence by singing solo and chorus pieces thanks to the concerts that are performed at the end of the semesters. Some of the students may take place at the backstage. By this way, the students may improve point of view in their career path and life as well. 


Course Content

Studies on individual vocal development (breath management, range, control, tone, vocalization) to gain an understanding of vocal technique, to increase musicality, musical skills and awareness of classical and contemporary repertoire


Course Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the students are expected to learn singing with the correct voice techniques.
