Course Content

Formulation of steady,unsteady,multidimensional conduction Methods of solution including separation of variables, integral transformations. Approximations and numerical means.Equations of motion. Formulation of laminar,free and forced convection including integral techniques. Methods of solution: Similarity,perturbation.Turbulent convection in term of molecular and eddy diffusivities.Prandtl and Karman`s theories.Analogy between heat and momentum transfer. Reynolds,Taylor,Prandtl and Martinelli analogies.
