  • How main theories of international politics approach non-state actors
  • The ways and conditions under which non-state actors influence global politics
  • The analytical framework to a examine non-state actor practices
  • Specific cases where non-state actors have been influential in global politics

  • Identify and distinguish between different types of actors in global politics
  • Understand different theoretical approaches to non-state actors in world politics
  • Understand and distinguish between types of impacts non-state actors have on global politics
  • Analyze the strategies used by non-state actors to influence global politics
  • Understand why some non-state actors' attempt for influence have been more successful than others
