Course Objectives

The students will learn to structure, analyze, and solve problems with multiple objectives.


Course Content

Formulation of the general multiobjective programming problem, classification of multiobjective programming methods; generating techniques, preference oriented methods, multiple-decision-maker methods. Multiobjective analysis of certain problems in public sector.(R)

The students will be able to

  • differentiate between efficient solutions and understand their properties
  • develop and solve mathematical models to find efficient solutions
  • use different approaches to converge to preferred solutions of a decision maker
