Course Objectives
By the end of the semester, the student will:
1. analyze and understand current American issues within a cultural context,
2. comprehend American myths and the realities of American society.
Course Content
The focus of the course is on current American issues within a cultural context. The course will emphasize individual writing assignments, collaborative projects, oral presentations and experiential learning about American society and culture. Students will learn to think critically and analytically, gaining awareness of the myriad of American myths and the enduring realities of American society.
Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of the semester, the students will develop critical and analytical thinking about a number of issues which define American civilization and culture. They will also get accustomed to using relevant AI tools.
