Course Objectives
Course Content
The psychological responses to disasters and crises. Differences between natural and man-made disasters. Normal and abnormal psychological reactions and factors that mitigate post-traumatic effects. Development of psychological resilience and coping strategies. Basics of interventio skills to address mental health issues and traumatic effects of victims of disasters.
