Course Objectives
This course concentrates on expanding reading, listening, writing and speaking skills, while revising and deepening more advanced aspects of German grammar. Topics include language and learning, family, facility, nature, food, tourism, leisure time, sports, accidents and work life. Students will write personal letters and e-mails, describe images and situations, and practice everyday forms of communication.

Intermediate German for Science and the Social Sciences.
Course Learning Outcomes
After completion of this course the students will have finished the level A2.1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Emphasis will be placed on vocabulary expansion, basic grammar acquisition and basic comprehension.
By the end of the course students will be able to:
