Course Objectives
1. Students will be familiarized with the topography, and they will have the necessary digital and morphometrical background to create digital topography models.
2. Students will develop analytical laboratory and data interpolation abilities by using GIS software to create topographic and derivative products in the Lab.
3. Students will improve the abilities of presentation and communication for professional life.
Course Content
Handling of various interpolation techniques of geo-spatial data. Recognition and classification of different terrain aspects, terrain morphometry, interpretation of Digital Terrain Model (DTM)and derivatives, production of thematic maps and analysis of selected terrains.
