Course Objectives

The course attempts to provide a solid foundation needed to be a successful manager by giving a fundamental understanding of accounting theory and practice both internationally and in Turkey. The students will have been provided the basic tools they require from the field of Financial Accounting.


Course Content

Designed for executives, basic concepts of financial and managerial accounting are covered in this course. Special emphasis is given to reading financial statements.


Course Learning Outcomes

Become familiar with the basic Financial Statements and their components.

Be able to locate relevant information in the financial statements.

Be able to use financial accounting information in managerial decision making.
