Course Objectives
This course is designed to give students fundamentals of Total Quality Management with emphasis on total quality concepts and contemporary quality management approaches, implementations and criticisms.
Course Content
Total quality concept. Total quality management decision. Customer focus. Quality organization. Team formation and problem solving. Leadership and empowerment. Quality through planning, design and control. Quality standards and award models. Real life applications and cases.

The students are able to:

3. Understand importance and ways of meeting and exceeding customer expectations
4. Understand quality organization and compare it to functional organization
