Course Objectives

This course aims to

- provide a firm grounding in major aesthetic, philosophical, cultural and political contexts informing fiction in Britain in the twenty-first century.

- explore recurring thematic concerns and formal characteristics of novels by influential writers hailing from Britain in the new millennium.
