Course Objectives
This course introduces John Milton's works and critically studies them, including Paradise Lost, Paradise Regained, L'allegro, IL Penseroso, and Comus.
Course Content
A critical study of selected works of John Milton including Paradise Lost, Pradise Regained, L'Allegro, IL Penseroso, and Comus.

Students who pass the course satisfactorily will be able to:
- read and understand Milton's texts
- critically examine the context in which these texts were written
- analyze the literary characteristics of Milton's texts
