Course Objectives

understand the concept of reframing

applies structural, HR, political and symbolic frames in analyzing cases/situations in educational organizations

integrate different frames in analyzing cases/situations in educational organizations

develop research proposals based on the reframing theoretical base

 

 


Course Content

A course on educational leadership. Theoretical approaches to educational leadership, organizational development. The importance of leadership as a change in educational setting with a special reference to reforming Turkish educational system.

state the difference between different frames of organizations

use structural frame in analyzing cases in educational organizations

construct solutions to structural, HR, political and symbolic problems in organizations

produce change plans for educational organizational on the basis of different frames

incorporate perspectives from different frames in managing schools
