3. apply contextual factors influencing  the curriculum and its preparation 

4. analyze basic curriculum data source and their  influences 

5. analyze the elements that constitute a curriculum

6. designs a sample curriculum for a subject or course

7. develop a  ositive attitude and appreciation toward curriculum as a   field ofstudy


Course Content

Analysis of the basic concepts and components of curriculum and the study of several curriculum designs.

Students completing this course are expected to

2. 1 determine the type of curriculum based on data souses a curriculum is developed.

3. 2 determent the consistencies and inconsistencies among the elements of a given  curriculum

4. 1 explain how how various curriculum and their elements can be organized and interrelated

4. 2 determines the relationship among the major elements of a  given curriculum

5.1 propose a curriculum design appropriate to a particular school or community
