EDS517 EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATION AND DESIGN

Course Objectives

By the end of this course the students will be able to;

1. know basic concepts of administrative sciences

2. understand management and managing schools

3. apply basic concepts of management science to school managemet

4. apply concepts, tools and models in resolving management cases in school setting

5. analyze issues in managerial practices in organizations

6. solve management problems in schools

7. propose research proposals for investigating school management issues

8. formulate structures and functions for schools

Course Content

An investigation in organizations in terms of their design, climates and the other characteristics as well as the theories, with the emphasis on educational organizations. Study of various issues and problems in Turkish educational organizations.
