Course Objectives

This course examines administrative challenges in educational organizations, with particular emphasis on the theoretical, structural, cultural and ethical dimensions that shape the environments of schools. Drawing on  scholarly literature and case studies, students will explore the issues such as the historical development of the field, leadership dilemmas, communication and conflict resolution, motivation, organizational attitudes and work-life balance, alongside considerations of organizational structure, culture, and processes of change. Additional topics include teamwork, with attention to effectiveness and cross-cultural perspectives, as well as the implications of digitalization of society and education will be encompassed. The course seeks to establish a balanced framework that integrates structural issues (policy, governance, etc.), human issues (motivation, work-life balance, communication, etc.), and emerging issues (digitalization and cross-cultural perspectives).


Course Content

Review of educational institutions in their relationship to other institutions, the community and the pressure groups and the problems related to these relationships with special emphasis on the identification of the problem areas for individual students towards their thesis preparation.

* Apply organizational and administrative theories to diagnose and address complex challenges.

* Engage in reflective and collaborative practices through case analysis and discussions.
