Course Objectives
The main objective of the course is to increase capacity of thinking in the theory of planning.
Course Content
Limits of predictabilities and instrumental rationality in planning. Critics of representative democracy. Human rights and citizenship. Civil society and governance. Emerging planning categories in the last two decades.
Course Learning Outcomes
Student, who passed the course satisfactorily will be able to:
* increase student capacity in the use of main concept in planning thought;
* analyze the limits of scientific knowledge in planning practices;
* analyze the use of human right thoughts in planning practices;
* familiarize new discussions in planning theory and practices;
* get the capacity of design of planning procedures in different social contexts.
