Course Objectives

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • describe and assess the current issues that affect theories and practices of conservation in different geographies;
  • critically evaluate the philosophical, theoretical, and practical underpinnings of the current issues
  • provide knowledge on formulating research questions and writing a research paper concerning one of the current conservation issues.

Course Learning Outcomes

Student, who passed the course satisfactorily will be able to:

  • describe and discuss the current issues that affect theories and practices of conservation in different geographies;
  • identify and assess the philosophical, theoretical and practical underpinnings of the current issues
  • conduct discourse and content analysis on current conservation issues
  • develop and formulate research questions concerning current conservation issues.
  • write and present a research paper concerning current conservation issues.
