Course Objectives
By the end of this course the students will be able to
- know basic concepts inorganic chemistry and expand their horizon about molecular structure and bonding
- apply various methods for visualizng information about aqueous solutions
- know basic concept of chemical equlibiria
Course Content
This course is designed to give some basic concepts of analytical and inorganic chemistry. Chemical analysis, evaluation of data, gravimetry, volumetry, neutralization, precipitation, oxidation and reduction titrations, coordination chemistry, structure of solids, chemistry of metals and non-metals.

By the end of this course the students will be able to
- name inorganic compounds
- comprehend constructing molecular orbital diagram
- predict symmetries of orbitals
- recall acid base concept
- correctly prepare aqueous solutions with known concentrations or determine the concenration of unknown solutions
- recall various principles and theory behind chemical equlibria
- use equlibriıum constraints like equlibrium constants, constants such as Ka, Kb, Ksp
- comprehend a basic understanding of volumetirc titrations such as neutralization titrations
