Course Objectives
The purpose of this course is to give a systematic presentation of momentum, energy, and mass transfer at microscopic and macroscopic levels in conjuction with illustrative examples and analogies.
Course Content
Analytical and approximate solutions of equations of mass, momentum and energy transport. Introduction to creeping, potential and laminar boundary layer flows. Description of heat and mass transfer in multicomponent systems. Interphase momentum, heat and mass transfer.
Course Learning Outcomes
Ability to set up and solve advanced level equation of changes for momentum, energy and mass tranfer
