Course Objectives

In this course students will understand how hydrologic data are collected and corrected and then using these data to be able to apply hydrologic methods in the design of hydraulic structures. 


Course Content

Hydrologic cycle and climate. Basin characteristics. Precipitation and streamflow data and their analysis. Hydrograph analysis. Statistical analysis of hydrologic data. DAD and IDF curves. Applications in all these subjects. Prerequisite: CE 378
