Course Objectives


Course Content

• Applications of Genetics and Population Genetics in Agricultural production systems.
• Agricultural crop breeding (fruits, vegetables, legumes and cereals) livestock breeding (Fish, Poultry, Ovine, Bovine) biotechnologies as well as insects, and soil microbial applications
• Postharvest Biotechnology of Fruits and Vegetables
• Discussion of patents, commercialization of biotechnology products, processes and systems.
• Illustrations of the industrial and commercial biotechnology applications in agriculture.
