Course Objectives
-Understand the role and importance of mathematical models in biology
-Understand the usage of differential equations in biological models
-Read and interpret ecological and evolutionary model equations
-Use models to describe how biological systems change over time
-Construct and analyze new models
-Use R to write model equations and draw graphs

Students will be able to:
1. understand the basic dynamics of the equations used in theoretical models on biological questions
2. distinguish between different modelling approaches
3. read and comprehend the R code of a simple biological model and plot graphs effectively
