Course Objectives
At the end of this course, the student will learn:

• The factors influencing the political and economic trajectories of different countries
• The application of comparative analysis to real-world case studies
Course Content
This course provides a general analytical framework for the comparative study of societies undergoing different phases of economic and political development. It introduces students to the key concepts, theories, and methods used in comparative political analysis. The course explores the relationship between economic development and political systems, examining how different levels of economic progress influence political structures and processes.
