Course Objectives
This course aims to address the historical progression of public administration theory from the Wilsonian dichotomy to post-New Public Management. By registering such a survey, the course aims to help build a comparison of competing theoretical perspectives on bureaucracy, rationality, and administrative behavior.
Course Content
This course is oriented towards a review of different schools and/or theorists of public administration theory from its genesis to contemporary ones. Special emphasis is given to methodology problem in this area.

Differentiate between major theoretical traditions (e.g., classical, human relations, systems theory)
